As Operations Director, Michelle oversees finance, human resources, information technology, and compliance for the Center for Health Care Rights.

She brings more than 14 years of experience in the management of safety-net health centers in Los Angeles County where she had primary responsibility for financial management and budgeting; lead processes in adopting new technology, including electronic health records; held responsibility for strategic plan development and ongoing evaluation; developed integrated compliance, quality, and risk management programs and served as a compliance officer; and developed systems and strategies to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and improve the client experience.

Michelle has a B.A. in Sociology from University of California, Berkeley and an M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
